Is it me or does 'Certain' boot CD's just not work PERIOD on SATA or RAID setups? I have 2 PC's here one with RAID, one with SATA setup and Neither will load ANY of the programs, starts to load then fails to load drivers, and eventually freezes.
I know it is not the CD as It works fine on my IDE setup here, I guess I just noticed it since I had been using A MiniPE for a while. I'd like to use some tools on 'The CD', and DO NOT want to switch my RAID to IDE just to run some tools and possible mess the RAID up.
So anyone know how to get this done, or why it is not working and it should be?
I posted this a few places in hopes of getting some response, as I think I have asked before and no one spoke up as if I was the only one who had this issue
Prior to boot Hiren's BootCD,I need to change to IDE mode from BIOS in order for MiniXP can detect the hard drives. Neither I cant use the F6 key, becouse the nonexixtence of the floppy drive. Then I wonder, exist any method to add new drivers to the MiniXP, directly into de Hiren's BootCD. Any comment or help are most welcome. 2942 users have said thank you to us this month. - Apr 30, 2015 On top of that, I copy the Hiren's CD on the Jump Drive with the WinPE image so I can utilize the Hiren's Tools while inside the WinPE image and has helped save quite a bit of time and effort as well.
- Hiren’s BootCD PE supports UEFI booting from DVD and USB flash drives. To format, re-partition your USB drive and to copy the ISO content into your USB drive properly, we have developed Hiren’s BootCD PE – ISO2USB portable tool. You need Administrator privileges to run it. It is free both for commercial and non-commercial use.
